Riding on the success of their latest Goddess jewellery launch to celebrate their first birthday, Shelley and Harry is hot off the press and the talk of the town. Capetonian based designer Shelley Robertson and her wet-nosed business partner, Harry the dachshund, are a formidable team, whose eye catching designs are echoed in their dictum “jewellery is not for sitting in your drawer or safe, it’s bought to be worn, shown-off and enjoyed.”
A pastel palette of precious jewels framed in studded rings of silver and gold and suspended on elegant chains, bold tri-coloured bangles and ball laced earrings are a few of the dynamic elements to expect from Shelley’s recent range. The Goddess anthology was inspired by ancient Etruscan jewellery, accenting the methods of workmanship and unique stylistic characteristics – guidelines that set these stones a cut above the rest.
Her other two jewellery ranges include a flirty, feminine Floral compilation comprising whimsical summer silhouettes and blooms etched onto precious metals, and the Coco collection with its bold, hefty gems partnered alongside petite flowers and distinguished finishes.
