Being the food- and wine-obsessed people that we are, we at HL are counting down the seconds until the Good Food & Wine Show returns to Cape Town at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 May 2016. Not least because this year’s event promises to be more exciting and immersive than ever before.
The three-day gourmand fiesta is boasting a new look and feel this time around, and in keeping with the rebrand, new owners Fiera Milano Exhibitions Africa have chosen the theme ‘Fresh’, which is also a reflection of the worldwide interest in sustainable farming and responsible, healthy living. They’ve appointed Hannerie Visser of Studio H to curate the exhibition into a unique sensory experience that promises guests a memorable time.
The show will be divided into eight focus areas, each of which brings through the core theme: Wellness, Lifestyle, Wine, Beer and Alcohol, Kids, Market and Street Food, Baking, and Gourmet. Each section will allow attendees to interact with exhibitors, learn about the latest trends in that field and take part in entertaining hands-on experiences.
HL‘s own parent company, Associated Media Publishing, will be hosting a Sound Garden installation, which will combine sight and sound by featuring a kaleidoscope of fresh produce paired with various audio bites, so be sure not to miss this.
