Originally set up in a 200-year-old barn in Franschhoek, La Grange Interiors has been going strong since 1996. Owing to its success, owner Sumari Krige expanded the brand to a second outlet in Pretoria and later established a sprawling store in Kramerville, Johannesburg, followed shortly by an expansion to Woodstock in Cape Town.
La Grange Interiors offers nothing that’s not handpicked or designed by Sumari herself. Her passion for the extraordinary takes her all over the world – from little known crafters’ workshops to artisan families and dusty antique stores. To keep with the trends and to continue surprising its customers, La Grange Interiors stocks new items every week.
Promoting an easy, elegant lifestyle, La Grange Interiors allows you to blend old and new and merge the classic with the contemporary. Soft furnishings in 100% linen, timeworn antiques, custom-designed pieces, lamps, accessories and glassware all fit perfectly with La Grange’s signature rattan furniture, proving that Sumari has a superb eye for timeless homeware.
Within the La Grange stable, discover unique mouth-blown pieces from Dutz Glass, each item the result of the dedicated craftsmanship of Eastern European glassmakers. Also stocked are the innovative, playful products of Pols Potten. With Dutch roots, the brand creates products that feel right at home anywhere in the world, from hotels to homes. Based in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, District Eight is a furniture design firm inspired by the industrial age.
