Music in the Park with Matthew Mole
Spend the day outdoors at Chris Saunders Park enjoying a live concert with performances from renowned artist, Matthew Mole, as well as additional local favourites. Heritage Day at the Durban Country Club
The Durban Country Club is hosting a family event for Heritage Day with a delicious braai buffet and live music. The club is relaunching their pool cocktail bar too, so guests can enjoy a refreshing drink on the pool deck.
The event is very much a kid-friendly one: children will have access to a special 'kid zone'. Bookings are essential as the event is limited to 200 guests; contact Durban Country Club on 031-313-1777.

When: 24 September, 12pm–6pm; the lunch serving will end at 3pm
Cost: R230 per adult, (R210 for members of the club), R110 for kids aged between 6-12 years, R60 for children aged between 3-6 and free entry for kids under the age of 3. The ticket cost includes a buffet lunch, child-friendly entertainment and live music.
Heritage Day at the Terrace Beer Garden
Set within the Illovo Nursery, the Terrace Beer Garden is hosting a National Braai Day event, offering guests mouthwatering options of local cuisine that include a range of grilled meats fresh from the braai. There will be a set menu available on the day that will include succulent lamb chops, boerewors, beef skewers, potato salad, rolls, green salad and bean salad. And at R99 for the set menu, it is an cost-friendly option for families and large groups.
The standard menu will be available at the event, catering to a range of diets. Kids can enjoy the play zone area, which includes a jumping castle, jungle gyms and slides. Bring along your four-legged best friend for the celebrations too, as the event is pet-friendly. There will be live music from 11am by a local DJ, Crazy Chris.
