If you’re a fan of nature-inspired prints and fabrics, you may recall photographer Clinton Friedman’s collection of versatile floor cushions that we featured previously. Following suit, his latest range of 2013 first quarter scatter cushions take a leaf (literally) out of the floral kingdom’s book, showcasing arresting imagery of plants and flowers on these beautiful decor accessories.
‘All that we do and design is done with a conscious mind. The inspiration for all our designs is hatched from our respect and curiosity for the natural world,’ says Clinton, referring to William Shakespeare’s words, ‘one touch of nature makes the whole world kin.’
His passion for the outdoors is evident in the magnificent way he has managed to reproduce these familiar images onto fabric, ultimately creating unique keepsakes for the home.
The first two scatter cushions in the gallery above will be available from all Weylandts stores in early February, while the entire collection can be ordered directly from Clinton’s online store for R695 each.
All designs are available in either 100% cotton canvas for indoors or in 100% water repelling outdoor fabric for outdoors.
Clinton Friedman is a proud supporter of Fauna & Flora International.
